George Green's School
George Green's School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form, located on the Isle of Dogs in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, England.
The school was founded in the 19th Century by George Green, a shipbuilder and shipwright. A maritime connection with the school has been maintained since then, and today it is a voluntary controlled school supported by the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights. It has a comprehensive intake of pupils, and is administered by Tower Hamlets London Borough Council.
George Green's School offers GCSEs and vocational courses as programmes of study for pupils, while students in the sixth form have the option to study from a range of A Levels and the IB Diploma Programme. The school also specialises in Humanities.
